The St. Louis Rams look to have selected the best posible player with the number 1 overall selection in the 2026 draft.  Sam Bradford is better than the Rams could have ever hoped for this early in the season.  Bradford just picked up his second rookie of the month honor, and is getting better every game as he posted his first ever 300 yard game as well as his first 3 touchdown game.  He’s also on pace to threaten many of Peyton Mannings rookie records, and he gets a date with the Cardinals and their 25th overall pass defense.

The Arizona Cardinals’ Derek Anderson is coming off a meltdown with the media after he was caught laughing it off on the sidelines while being blown out against the 49ers on Monday night.  Despite having all-pro Larry Fitzgerald on his side, Derek Anderson is statistically the worst quarterback while being blitzed as he has completed just 43.5 percent of his passes, and has thrown 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.  Anderson also has the highest rate of incompletions as a result of poor throws at 21.2 percent.  The Rams will blitz often, and likely will get there as they are fifth in the league with 28 sacks, and the Cardinals are 29th in sacks per pass atempt at 8.6 percent.

My Pick: St. Louis Rams (+3.5)

Yes they have only won one game on the road all season, but it came last week, and Sam Bradford and the Rams are hitting on all cylinders right now.  The Cardinals, meanwhile have lost 6 in a row and their leader is just laughing it all up on the sidelines.
