New England Patriots -7 Over San Diego Chargers
 Last week I had the pleasure of taking in the Patriots game while doing cardio at the gym. It was awesome, not only did I get to NOT hear Jaws and Gruden (assumingly) verbally masturbate over Tom Brady, but I also got a solid work out in. I'm sure everyone has heard about Brady's 517 yards or however many it was. God damn that was beastly, I almost wish I didn't hate the Patriots so that I could more enjoy watching Tom Brady play.
The Patriots offense is really fucking good. The scheme is amazing, and the way Tom Brady runs it is pretty incredible. I still am convinced however that if you replaced Brady with Manning the Patriots have an even better run throughout the 2000's. Think about it, what if Manning was paired with Belichick instead of dumbass coaches like Jim Caldwell.
The Pats defense was a big letdown last week. They got fucking torched for over 400 yards by Chad Henne. I don't care if he throws it every single play, a good defense does not let Chad fucking Henne put up 400 yards on them. Oh and the 59 (I think) rush yards he had, holy shit dudes you're really gonna let Henne scramble like a madman? Devin McCourty is a very good young corner who I wish was on a team other than the Patriots. If he continues to develop, they might have a special one on their hands.
The Chargers last week narrowly beat the Vikings. This was, in a game where Donovan McNabb passed for 39 yards over the entire game. So it stands to reason that either the "Super" Chargers offense is extremely overrated, or the Vikings defense is very much underrated. I'd like to take the time here to congratulate San Diego's strong safety Mr. Bob Sanders for making it through an entire game. How long before he's out for season? I say about 4 games.
Bottom Line: San Diego didn't have their greatest game last weekend. They're gonna need to step it up in this one to compete with Brady. I think however that the Pats offense is way too much for that Chargers defense and they cover the spread easily.
