Friday night football brings us an exciting game between the 1-2 Ti-Cats and 0-3 Lions. Both of these teams are having a disappointing start after  having such a good finish of last season. Although the Ti-Cats have the better record so far, it doesn't really mean they're the better team. They won last weeks game against an awful Saskatchewan Roughriders team. The West Division champs of last year now have started the season 0-3, and last week was their worst performance so far. The Roughriders couldn't even get a touchdown last game, and turned the ball over 4 times. Not to mention they're lack of defence. Hamilton did put up and impressive 33 points while holding the Riders to just 3. Although you have to see this more as a Riders loss than a Hamilton win. The Lions haven't won a game yet, but they have been close in week one and two. Last week they had a poor performance as well loosing by 16 points. The Lions have looked good this season, but just not good enough to win a game yet. They played good football against Montreal and Calgary loosing by just 4 and then 2 points. Their offence has looked good this year, but it's their defence that looks worse. In three weeks the Lions defence has given up 30, 34, and 33 points. It's hard to win games when your giving up that many points.

Although the odds have the Lions winning by 3 points, I see Hamilton winning this game. They have momentum coming off of a 30 point win, while the Lions are coming off of their worst game this season. Take the Ti-Cats to win this game or to just cover the spread, but I see them doing both, so either bet would be good.
