Toronto Argonauts Hamilton Tiger-Cats Betting Pick

Week 7 brings the first head to head Ontario battle of the year. Unfortunately this clash is of  two teams that haven't had great success this year. The Ti-Cats have done a bit better than Toronto though, Hamilton is 3-3 while Toronto is tied for worst in the league at 1-5. Hamilton started off the year poorly loosing their first 2 games by a large margin in both, but then they turned it around to win their next three in a row. During that win streak they were playing great football led by they quarterback Kevin Glen changing his game by throwing less interceptions, and connecting with receiver Dave Stala. It wasn't until last week where their game started to slow down again. Although they didn't play terrible football, it wasn't good football. Glen wasn't playing as good of football as before. He wasn't throwing as many interceptions as before, although he did throw one, the problem this time seemed to be that he couldn't complete passes late in the game when he needed to. Hamilton was shut out in the second half of last weeks game. A lot of this was due to the Ti-Cats not being able to moves the ball up field. For Toronto things haven't been looking good  since week one. They've dropped the past 5 games. I don't know if you remember, but after the loss of Cory Boyd in week 2 I said Toronto wouldn't win a game until he got healthy. Well that has been true so far, and Week 7's game is the return of Cory Boyd. It's hard to tell if he will be enough of a spark to make the Argos win though.  There have been Games where Kackert has played well and Toronto still lost. Another thing has been the fact that Cleo Lemon has been injured for 2 games as well. In his return last week against Montreal he threw for 314 yards and 2 touchdowns well only throwing one interception. With the Return of Cory Boyd to help out Lemon a bit more maybe we can see life again from Toronto

This is going to be a close team between both teams its hard to tell which team will come out on top, but due to the point spread we don't have to pick what team will win. Seeing as there's an 8 point spread for Hamilton to win we can just pick Toronto to cover the spread. I see this being no more than a 3 point game, and definitely not more than a touchdown difference, take Toronto to cover in this one. I would also take the over for this game. These are two teams with bad defences, I know the Over/Under is high at 50 points, but I see both of these teams scoring a lot on each other.
