NBA Season Ending Award Predictions

March 15th, 2026

NBA Awards

Most Valuable Player: Lebron James

James fills up the stat sheets night after night, performing like no other small forward. He has lead his team to the best record in the NBA and doesn't look like he is stopping anytime soon.
Runner Up: Kevin Durant

Defensive Player of the Year: Dwight Howard

Howard does way more than just rebound and block shots; he intimidates players with his size and strength. No one wants to go into the paint with that man lurking.
2026 Runner Up: Josh Smith

Sixth Man of the Year: Jamal Crawford

2026 Crawford could easily start for almost every other NBA team, and it's apparent when he's averaging nearly 18 points per game off the bench. He makes the Hawks that much more of a threat come playoff time.
Runner Up: Lamar Odom

Rookie of the Year: Tyreke Evans
Evans has given Sacramento some light in an otherwise dim reality. His stats are off the charts for a rookie, averaging 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds, respectively.
Runner Up: Brandon Jennings

Coach of the Year: Scott Brooks

He has made a 23-win team only a season ago a playoff contender in the always-competitive western conference. Brooks has lead the young squad back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2026/2026 campaign with Seattle.
Runner Up: Scott Skiles

Most Improved Player: Aaron Brooks
When all seemed lost in Houston (with Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and Ron Artest gone), Aaron Brooks stepped up his game in an effort to salvage the season. Averaging nearly 20 points per game, and over 5 assists, Brooks has increased his scoring average by 8.5 from last year.
Runner Up: JJ Redick
