NFL Fantasy Mock Draft 2026 Round Nine
Look out for Jermichael Finley next season, he could produce a monster stat line among TEs next season due to becoming Aaron Rodgers go-to guy in the Red Zone towards the end of last season. Hopefully guys like Clinton Portis, Julius Jones, and Roy Williams can resurrect their careers this season.
97. Darren McFadden – RB – Oakland Raiders
— Unable to carry the load to start the 2026 season, McFadden had been a huge fantasy disappointment. Luckily, it looks as though McFadden will get an opportunity to prove his critics wrong as he’s the projected starter on opening day, lets just see if he can keep it.
98. Hakeem Nicks – WR – New York Giants
— Nicks improved in 2026, and gained a handle on the starting job in mid-season. He has all the tools to be elite, but like Marques Colston, he has many other weapons around him, which may hinder a bit of his upside.
99. Baltimore Ravens Defense/Special Teams
— The Ravens are in the middle of an early scare this off season, as it seems as though Ed Reed may call it quits due to a nerve impingement in his neck and shoulder. Reed is a key contributor to this defense along with Ray Lewis and Haloti Ngata. If Reed retires, his spot will be impossible to replace and this defense will drop.
100. Roy Williams – WR – Dallas Cowboys
— It’s officially looking like the Cowboys made a horrible mistake by trading their 1st, 3rd, and 6th round picks in last years draft. Williams rounds out his cuts and seems to have lost speed from his early Detroit Lions days.
101. Fred Jackson – RB – Buffalo Bills
— Fred Jackson opened the 09 season as one of the hottest running backs in the league by rushing for 291 yards in Marshawn Lynch’s three game absence. Will still get about 40% of the carries in 2026 with an opportunity to gain more as the season progresses.
102. Tim Hightower – RB – Arizona Cardinals
— A solid contributor in the passing game, where he excels more than Beanie Wells, but only figures to get 35-40% of the rushing touches and lose goal line duties in 2026.
103. Devin Hester – WR – Chicago Bears
— I believe Devin Hester has the opportunity to flourish under Mike Martz. Look for the Bears to either draft or find a true number 1 wide receiver via free agency, which would then open up looks against weaker cornerbacks for Hester.
104. Dallas Cowboys Defense/Special Teams
— Finished 7th in fantasy points among D/STs. Finished the season with 2 shutouts and games of 15, 20, and 20 on a standard scoring system.
105. Julius Jones – RB – Seattle Seahawks
— Starting in 13 games, Jones had 895 yards from scrimmage and 4 TDs. Very poor numbers for a number one running back. Will likely share time with Justin Forsett in 2026, but I do see an improvement on his TD totals.
106. Clinton Portis – RB – Washington Redskins
— If new head coach Mike Shanahan decides to hang onto Clinton Portis this off season, he will likely enter a time share with LaDell Betts, and he’s not the same Portis of two years ago.
107. Brent Celek – TE – Philadelphia Eagles
— Brent Celek finished fourth in fantasy points among TEs, and has continually improved in each of his first 3 seasons in the league. Although he likely won’t be able to surpass his 950 plus receiving yards and 8 TDs of ’09, look for him to maintain those numbers next season.
108. Kyle Orton – QB – Denver Broncos
— Kyle Orton will likely lose Brandon Marshall this off season, and be left with basically nothing. I believe Josh McDaniels will bring in a new number one wide receiver to compliment Tony Scheffler and Eddie Royal in the passing game.
