Sportsbook Deposit options

February 3rd, 2010

We have put together a full list of all the deposit options available to US and Canadian players. Credit Card companies are being restricted by the US and Canada to not allow deposits to gambling sites.  Each bank and credit card company are different and they can choose to approve a gambling related transaction or decline, there is no law or regulation stating what they have to do so you have to hope for the best.  If your credit card is declined you should try EwalletXpress for US citizens or Moneybookers for non US players. Both are systems similar to paypal but made for gambling deposits and are fast and secure.

If you have no credit card or it has been declined when trying to deposit try these deposit methods.  All are great deposit options and are all fast and secure.

Best US deposit methods

eWalletXpress – This is an ewallet just like neteller or PayPal best option if credit card is declined.

Instant Check / eChecks – Only available at a few online poker sites and sportbooks. Register your personal bank account with the poker room and deposit fund strait from and to your bank.
Credit Cards - The easiest way to deposit, sportsbook.com is the most successful credit card rating and if credit card is your choice then so should be Sportsbook.com
Western Union – You go into a western union shop, pay in cash and transfer money to your sportsbook or poker account.
EcoCard / QuickTender - A pre-paid debit card
UseMyWallet – This is the same company as QuickTender.
PINdebit - Its a cross between an eWallet and a bank account, Supported by Carbon Poker.
MoneyGram – This service is the same type as Western Union.
Rapid Transfer – This is a service only offered at Bodog.
American Express - not very reliable as it is often declined

Non US deposit options

Moneybookers - Best ewallet and accepted everywhere.

Neteller Use to be the number one choice back in the good old days.  Accepted everywhere but US and Canadians are restricted.
